4.2 Payment Terms

Payment terms vary by module and agreement:

  • One-off builds: Typically 50% deposit, 50% on completion
  • Monthly plans: 12-month minimum term with monthly billing in advance
  • Prices quoted are in GBP and include VAT where applicable
  • Late payments may incur suspension of services

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

One-off builds: Deposits are non-refundable once work commences. Cancellation after 50% completion requires full payment.

Monthly plans: 12-month minimum term applies. Early cancellation requires payment of remaining term or buyout option as specified in agreement.

Refund policy: We do not offer refunds for completed work or services rendered. If you are unsatisfied with deliverables, we will work with you to address issues within reason.

4.4 Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate business information and content
  • Timely responses to requests for feedback or approvals
  • Providing necessary access (hosting, accounts, etc.)
  • Maintaining backups of provided content
  • Complying with laws regarding their business and marketing

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 ARCHIVE 6 Property

Our website design, content, logos, and branding are the intellectual property of ARCHIVE 6 and are protected by UK and international copyright laws.

5.2 Client Deliverables

One-off builds: Upon full payment, clients receive full ownership of their website design and content (excluding third-party assets, frameworks, or licensed components).

Monthly plans: Ownership transfers upon completion of the 12-month term and fulfillment of any buyout requirements.

ARCHIVE 6 retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed.

6. Warranties and Disclaimers

6.1 Service Warranty

We warrant that services will be provided with reasonable skill and care consistent with industry standards. However, we do not guarantee:

  • Specific search engine rankings or traffic levels
  • Specific business results or lead generation numbers
  • Uninterrupted or error-free website operation
  • Results from third-party services (Google, etc.)

6.2 Third-Party Services

We may integrate third-party services (hosting providers, Google services, etc.). We are not responsible for third-party service failures, changes, or issues.

6.3 Disclaimer

OUR WEBSITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARCHIVE 6 SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from third-party services or actions
  • Damages arising from client's misuse of deliverables

IN ANY EVENT, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE CLIENT FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE IN QUESTION.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ARCHIVE 6 from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of our website or services
  • Your breach of these Terms
  • Content you provide to us for your website
  • Your violation of any laws or third-party rights

9. Changes to Services or Terms

We reserve the right to:
